TRACE — One Line Puzzle ("TRACE", "the app") is a single-player puzzle game for iOS. This policy explains what data the app does, and does not, handle.

Summary

TRACE does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. The app has no account system, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third-party tracking code of any kind.

What stays on your device

Your puzzle progress — streak, best times, unlocked skins, and settings — is stored locally on your device only, using on-device storage. It is never sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

Game Center (optional)

TRACE can optionally submit your Flow-mode best time to a Game Center leaderboard and let you view Apple's Game Center leaderboard screen. This only happens if you are already signed in to Game Center on your device and the feature is entirely optional — the app is fully playable offline without it. Any data shared with Game Center (your score, your Game Center player identity) is handled directly by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy; TRACE itself never sees or stores this data.

Notifications (optional)

If you opt in, TRACE can schedule local reminder notifications (e.g. a daily puzzle reminder). These are generated and scheduled entirely on your device — no notification data is sent to any server.

Children

TRACE does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data collection — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change.
