Tap the cell marked S, then drag or tap through adjacent open cells until every open cell is filled and the last cell is E. The puzzle solves itself automatically the instant it's complete — there's no submit button and no fail state.
Three puzzles a day — a 4×4, a 5×5, and a 6×6 — generated from the date, the same for everyone. Solve all three to keep your streak alive.
An endless timed run. Each solve adds time and raises your multiplier as the grids grow. Your best runs can optionally be submitted to a Game Center leaderboard.
Do I need an account? No. TRACE has no login and no account system.
Does TRACE work offline? Yes, fully — including Daily and Flow modes. Only the optional Game Center leaderboard needs a connection.
I lost my streak after reinstalling — is that expected? Yes. Progress is stored locally on your device only, so it doesn't carry over across an uninstall/reinstall or a new device.
